Healthier Baked Samosa Recipe: Fresh Ingredients Delivered to Your Kitchen

However, with more people opting for healthier food options, it is also necessary to find a healthier samosa recipe. You can try out the healthier baked samosa recipe for a change.

You won’t feel any significant difference in the taste, but you will skip the guilt of eating unhealthy altogether. This recipe may seem complicated, but it is quite easy to make, as you don’t have to deal with the mess of a messy kitchen. You can also find its ingredients easily online, just by looking up “kirana stores near me” on Google.

How to Make Baked Samosa?

  1. To begin with, creating your baked samosa recipe involves making a list of ingredients. If you type “kirana stores near me” on Google and find a grocery delivery app, you can get them delivered to your home.
  2. Here’s a list of ingredients for four servings of baked samosas:
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour (maida) or whole wheat flour (for an even healthier option)

  1. Continuing with the baked samosa recipe, you need to combine the flour of your choice, water and oil and knead a smooth dough.
  2. Prepare the stuffing by adding vegetable oil to a heated pan and cooking all the spices, peas, and onions until they caramelise. Then add the potatoes and combine nicely with the spiced onions and peas. Also, remember to cook this mixture well.
  3. For the baked samosa recipe to work effectively, it is crucial to prepare the filling properly. You also need to make sure it doesn’t taste raw. Let it cool down completely.
  4. Using the already prepared dough, form small balls and roll them out into circles. Then, separate them into two halves and fold the edges to form a cone.
  5. Fill the cone nicely and seal the remaining edge. Avoid overstuffing to prevent uneven taste.
  6. The final step in the baked samosa recipe is actually to bake the samosas. You can use an air fryer or an oven to bake the samosas.
  7. If you’re using an air fryer, place the samosas inside and let them air fry at 380°F for 15 minutes. You will need to flip them to complete them fully. Do not skip this step, or it will harm your baked samosa recipe.
  8. If you’re using an oven for your samosa recipe, you will need to brush the samosas with oil and place them on a baking tray. Then, bake the samosas at 400°F for 40 minutes.
  9. When they are ready to be served, you can pair them with mint, tamarind, or tomato chutney.
